Cause 1. Lantern jaw surgery which corrects the lower jaw position is effective for long lower chin due to lantern jaw or malocclusion.

Cause 2. If the occlusion is normal and the lower jaw is simply long, front chin (chin tip) surgery can reduce the lower chin length.
