What is it?

The mid facelift efficiently tightens sagging cheeks and the area around them. In most cases usual facelift doesn’t fully treat these areas, thus mid facelift is used on the earliest stages of aging or along with the facelift!

The main point of this surgery is that it is customized for the face condition of each individual patient. During the pre-surgery consultation, the surgeon examines the patient’s face and discuss the effect that is desired. After that, a surgery plan based on this information is designed.

Why is it needed?

-to improve sagging cheeks and lower eyelids

-for a more natural effect

-for long-lasting effect with minimal incisions

-in the case when injections don’t help with wrinkles

How does it work?

1. A minimal incision is performed in a designated area

2. Careful skin lifting is carried out, removing the excess of the skin.

OPERATION TIME:

50 to 60 Minutes

ANESTHESIA:

Sleep/ Local

HOSPITALIZATION:

Not required

STITCHES REMOVAL:

After 7 to 10 days

RECOVERY:

3 to 4 days

Comparison with the full facelift:

A full facelift is a more major surgery that lifts all face, with a longer recovery. It is used in the latest stages of aging when the skin in all parts of the face is needed to be tightened.

Mid facelift concentrates only on the cheek & lower eyelids area and gives more natural-looking results. It is used in the earlier stages of the aging when cheeks start to sag and eyebags with the wrinkles appear around the eyes.
