What is the three-jaw surgery?

It is protruded mouth surgery and bimaxillary osteotomy performed at the same time.

In case of protruded with severe short chin it is impossible for any of the above surgeries to improve the functionality and aesthetics by itself and because both of them are quite major operations, do them separately is risky for the health.

Three-jaw surgery can improve complicated symptoms at once by combining protruded mouth surgery and bimaxillary osteotomy.

Three-jaw surgery has a variety of steps and requires high precision and technique. Therefore, it is important to select a clinic with highly experienced surgeons, who follow all the safety precautions.

What is important to know about Three-jaw surgery?

IT IS A DIFFICULT SURGERY

It is a difficult surgery that combines the protruded mouth surgery and bimaxillary osteotomy simultaneously improving a severely protruded mouth and short chin.

RICH CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED

A high level of experience is required in order to perform this surgery.

APPEARANCE UPGRADE

It is a major surgery that dramatically improves the client’s appearance.

BONE SCALPEL IS NEEDED

Safe and precise surgery is possible thanks to the bone scalpel — a device that responds only to the bones without damaging important nerves and blood vessels.

Surgery method:

As it was said before, this surgery combines protruded mouth surgery and bimaxillary osteotomy to improve both the protruded mouth and short chin.

1. Extract 4 premolars behind the canines and then cut the protruded ulitis.

2. Push the ulitis and teeth to the proper position to correct the protruded mouth.

3. Move the receded lower jaw forward.

4. Perform the chin tip advancement to move the tip of the chin forward.
